1. Basic Views

We believe that our mission is to contribute to the advancement and development of the life sciences by supporting research activities. By doing so, we can help create a more prosperous and secure society that places value on the protection of health and life. Our fundamental principle of corporate governance is based upon our aim to actualize this mission; to sustainably develop our company; to establish a highly transparent and efficient management system; and to deepen the trust that the public, including stakeholders, have of us by implementing appropriate measures with respect to social customs.

[Reasons for Non-compliance with the Principles of the Corporate Governance Code]

We have implemented all of the “Fundamental Principles” of the Corporate Governance Code.

Five "basic principles"
1. Ensuring the rights and equality of shareholders
2. Appropriate collaboration with stakeholders other than shareholders
3. Appropriate information disclosure and ensuring transparency
4. Clarifying responsibilities of the Board of Directors, etc.
5. Adequate communication with shareholders
